  • Right here is the right site for anyone who really wants
to find out about this topic. You understand a whole lot its almost hard
to argue with you (not that I actually will need to…HaHa).
You certainly put a brand new spin on a subject which has been discussed for
    ages. Excellent stuff, just excellent!

  • This movie launched my adolescence. It’s juvenile, but so was I then. It will always be cherished for many reasons, but the great voice cast is high on that list.

Umad? Y u so mad tho?

Seriously, why the hate to Japan? Possibly the B17 chapter upset you?
Well, losing a family member in WWII, or in any war really- is terrible, and if that is the case, you have my sincere condolences. War is bad s#!t, because someone from somebody’s family somewhere dies a horrible death. Many families. Many losses. I can see where some imagery could be difficult to watch.

That said, I hope you can move and grow past that pain and see this movie for what it is. A brilliant, timeless story, told with graphic animation and kick ass music.

This is a classic work of art, made in 1981… three years before I was born.

I only know this movie because my dad taped it on VHS, a tape labelled “Nice Dreams Heavy Metal” (big up Cheech and Chong, another classic) and I stumbled upon it one day when I was maybe 12 or 13. I believe it changed my life. It might be why I was the only black kid in middle school playing flight simulators and listening to classic rock, as well as the grunge and metal influenced music playing at the time. Music is incredible, how it spans time and connects(or in some cases the opposite) generations of beings.

I didn’t intend to make a book of this, but lol. In any case, just enjoy it, it’s more than great. Thanks to all who were part of this move. Writers, directors, Voice Actors, the musicians whose music makes it all the more perfect. Thanks Dad for being into science fiction and rock and roll, and for taping that tape. thank you universe and all who created them. Anna I love you.

Williams in West Chester here, rock on. over and out.
